Details sorted, round two

So I suck at sorting details, apparently.

I have a new home now.

I signed a lease.

I'm not entirely sure where it is, except googlemaps says it's walking distance to where I work, only I'm not really sure where that is either.

Ah well.

Also I leave in three days and there's still so many little things to do.

It's moderately traumatic.

Details sorted- more or less

So, I think my mother was about two seconds away from having a panic attack...

Mom: So about your flight?
Jane: No idea.
Mom: What about where you'll be living?
Jane: No idea.
Mom: When do you leave?
Jane: Two weeks-ish.

Well, it's now one week (6 days, who's counting) and I'm happy to say the details are all sorted.
I leave April 30 for seven weeks of daily journalism in a real live newsroom.
I will be blogging about my experience (after all, my first day on the job is election day... go vote!), so feel free to read, comment, not read, not comment or whatever floats your boat.
